Salagubang

Lucanidae in my collection is one of the least identified specimens. Of course, those in the genus Dorcus, Cyclommatus, to mention a few, are more known than, say, those of genera Figulus and Nigidius in subfamily Figulinae. I just don’t have the relevant papers and these species are quite challenging as all almost look the same except for the sculptural differences of the head.
